A Yahoo WebRing has been hacked !
the GEOMANCE WebRing has been hacked, I
lost control on it as its original RingMaster, original creator and original animator with the Yahoo alias geomancedotcom.
Some links to sites I personally
approved were replaced (except one) by some I didn't.
I could just
complaint to WebRing inc. and learned they just gived my own Webring
without my authorisation !

GEOMANCE ELECTRONIC EDITIONS.
Geomance Editions webmaster, Jean-Pierre MOULS
(WebRing/Yahoo alias "geomancedotcom")is the original OWNER
and RingMaster of the GEOMANCE WEBRING.
THE GEOMANCE WEBRING HAS BEEN HACKED
by somebody under the (Yahoo) alias "thespiritualmessengers"
usurpating "geomancedotcom" RingMaster identity.
JEAN-PIERRE MOULS, geomancedotcom (Yahoo alias) AND
GEOMANCE EDITIONS CONSIDER THIS AS A COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT.
I need a motivated reply without delay or I will be obliged to publish these
facts on the geomance webpage until the trouble stops.
N.B.: elements of proof are below.

WebRing-inc replied very quickly (maybe TOO quickly for a Sunday night ! ) a few hours after :
(according to webring <email@example.com>:)
The ring was put up for adoption almost exactly a year ago because it
had been deemed abandoned. This email address:
was sent four warning emails, starting September of 2002, stating that
the ring needed to be managed because there were pending new
submissions. The ring was not managed at any time, nor was the
ringmaster's account even logged in to, over the ensuing 4 months. In
addition, we do not have any indication that the User ID,
geomancedotcom, was ever used from June of 2002 until 12/14/2003. It's
possible that if you contact the ringmaster that agreed to manage the
ring that they might be willing to offer it back to you, but there is no

Objet: Re: A Yahoo WebRing has been hacked !
I verified my (email) log(file), and didn't find any warning from you.
If I didn'd log on for a long time, OK. This is not the question.
I cannot associate my websites and geomance name to a content I didn't
approved, an I deny you the right to give somebody else the result of my own
web reputation, and of GEOMANCE fame.
You as responsable of this situation. You have to close the GEOMANCE
If you consider as your right to put up my work for adoption, I consider mine,
as an independant French author, to denonciate your comportment. In my country,
law protects both economic and moral rights, and I consider there is a
copyright infringement by your fault.
You as responsable of this desagreable situation for me. I dont want no more to
promote your money by my job.
Reparation I suggest is to close the GEOMANCE WebRing, NOW.
